Taylor Swift Loved Zoe Kravitz Catwoman In The Batman and So Did We

Taylor Swift went to see “The Batman” during the film’s opening weekend and raved over her friend Zoë Kravitz’s performance as Selina Kyle.

One particular friend who could not get enough of Matt Reeves’ the Batman was none other than Taylor Swift – specifically could not get enough of her friends’ Zoe Kravitz’s iconic portrayal of the infamous Catwoman. The singer made herself known by adding a cute little Instagram Story post. It read:

Taylor posted a scene from the movie where Zoë (as Selina Kyle) wears the character’s signature all-black leather catsuit. “@zoeisabellakravitz IS THE CATWOMAN OF MY DREAMS,” Tay wrote. “The Batman was PHENOMENAL!!!”

Taylor and Zoe go way back. The duo have been friends since long before. According to E! News, the singer and actor had been pals for years and were even in one another’s quarantine pods during the early days of the COVID-19 epidemic. Taylor even lent a hand to Zoe during a virtual photoshoot for the New York Times Magazine, ensuring that the photograph was flawless. “Zo was being extremely tight about it anyhow since she’s shooting a movie,” said Jake Silverstein, editor of the New York Times magazine, to WWD. “And Taylor Swift was in her pod, ready to help.” The photographer was able to get the perfect image thanks to Taylor’s assistance.

The lives of the two buddies cross paths in a variety of ways. Zoe has also been working on new tracks with Taylor’s long-time collaborator Jack Antonoff. Making music is one of the ways she resolves her emotions, she told Elle in February 2022. “It feels vulnerable, and it’s a little frightening,” Zoe added, “but producing music makes me happy.”

When it comes to cats, Taylor IS an authority. Anyone who knows Tay knows how much she loves her feline companions Meredith, Olivia, and Benjamin, so we’re inclined to believe her when she claims Zoe purr-fectly personified the essence of a feline.
